This project was initiated by my interest in marketing, the digital revolution, computers, the internet and the World Wide Web.
We had launched our own first practice website back in 1998. I was lucky enough to have at that time a vet assistant, Marianne, who had a keen interest in computers. Marianne developed the website using a standard off- the- shelf, web building package.Clicking your mouse on the thumbnail on the left gives a screenshot of the original site.
At this time the practice was going through a major marketing drive spearheaded by David (with his vision) and Marianne (with her knowledge of IT) .Emma Barratt as practice manager co ordinated all the marketing activities, which would be reported on the website as "News and Events".
So many vet practices these days perform miracle treatments and have fantastic open days and events. With the assistance of a website created by vetontheweb , you can have this facility at your fingertips, literally at the click of a mouse .!
Essentially therefore it is my belief that for a veterinary practice or practitioner to have a credible online presence, the website content must be easily changed and updated. Hour by hour, day by day, week by week our businesses have a message for our customers .
What’s more, our websites must be capable of saving us time and money, and increase profitability, by adding extra value to our service, and by providing other revenue streams. Developing and retaining the client bond is vitally important as well, and when you engage your clients to become members of your online database you can maximise that customer relationship. Ultimately everyone wins in this situation.
I believe that in the new nationwide web portal vetontheweb we have the perfect vehicle to provide this. Why not engage with our company and start building a more profit and client centred business.
