In March 2003 the Riverside Veterinary Clinic was acquired from Mr John Chapman who had also run a traditional veterinary practice Kippen . The Kippen practice had closed, mainly because of the decline in the farm animal side of the practice. Fiona Easton was reinstated as head veterinary nurse, as was assistant vet Ian Wilson. The practice was run with an additional 2 locum vets as well as David Charity our new full time assistant vet. This was a time of rapid expansion within the practice. There was a lot of travelling around between the 3 surgeries for everyone.
