The practice David Finlay Pet Health Care has had a close association over the last 10 years with Novartis Animal Health. We have been fortunate to attend CPD or Continual Professional Development training courses in Helensburgh and even Barcelona and Guernsey.


Helensburgh


After the main “learning and cpd” a group of 12 vets were treated to a sail in Drum the 78 foot , Maxi yacht, formerly owned by Simon Le Bon of Duran Duran fame. This was a great occasion and personally, getting the opportunity to helm this racing yacht was quite an experience.


The CPD study at Barcelona was interspersed with some social events. A tour of the centre of Barcelona, as well as the Cava vinery were both notable. The evening entertainment was fantastic especially memorable were the flamenco dancers : a chance for everyone to soak up the atmosphere.
